- Launch the OpenIV App that you have recently installed.
- A screen will come up featuring different games viz GTA 5, GTA 4, Max Payne 3, Read Dead Redemption 2, and Episodes from Liberty City.

Steam Client
- Launch Steam Client and select GTA V from the menu on the left.
- Go to Settings > Properties.
- From the menu on the left, go to Local Files and tap on Browse.
- This will open the GTA V Game Location folder on your PC.
Rockstar Games Client
- Launch the Rockstar Games Client on your PC.
- From the left side panel select Grand Theft Auto V > Settings.
- Scroll until you locate the option of View Installation Folder.
- Tap on Open to get the location.
Epic Games Client
- Go to C Drive on your PC and enable the option of Hidden Items from the View menu option.
- Go to the folder Program Data > Epic > Data > Epic Games Launcher.
- Now tap on Manifests.
- Here find the GTA5.exe file.
- Open the file and the location that you seek is present against the label Manifest Location.

[How-To] Work with MODs Folder in OpenIV GTA V MOD
You will require the Mods folder to activate mods in GTA V gameplay. Below are the steps to create the mods folder.
- Launch OpenIV on your PC and tap on Edit Mode.
- Please note we choose Edit Mode so that you can modify your changes before making them permanent.
- Go to Tools > ASI Manager.
- From the screen that comes up, please install OpenIV ASI and Open Camera.
- Close the dialogue box and you will see a blue label titled ‘Install Plugin for GTA V’ with a button captioned ASI Manager.
- Tap on that button and hit the Install option on Open IV ASI.
- You will see a dialogue box asking for your confirmation to create a MODs folder. Tap on Yes.
- Now, install the Open Camera plugin too when you are back to the ASI Manager.
- Close the ASI Manager window.
- You will have an empty MODs folder available now.
- Now launch the main directory of the GTA V game on your PC.
- Copy folders ‘x64’ and ‘update’ and paste them into the MODs folder.
- That is it! Now open the modifications folder in OpenIV and you will see the contents once the file transfer is complete.
Now since you have the MODs folder available, you can have all the mods on your PC downloaded from a trustworthy website. All you have to do is paste the downloaded mod files into the MODs folder. Now, when you will launch the game, the mods will activate as well.
